Helen that sounds like a good idea - keep him pinned down (so to speak)  I would have to move the highchair into the living room, but it would be worth it.  I don't know the last time PJ's nails were cut..........months probably.   :o

They kind of start to tear so I take them the rest of the way off.  But some are still long. I just can't get a hold of him and those wiggle squirmy hands.

Nails are a breeze (so far) - he holds wonderfully still while I do his hands, almost like he's perplexed and fascinated by what I'm doing. Feet are a bit more of a mission but thankfully I don't have to do them too often - he's such a strong kicker!

Hair is another world altogether though. His hair is long and straight and is really starting to get in his eyes. I've trimmed the back before when he was getting a bit of a flyaway halo and that was scary enough - he kept whipping his head around to I just had to randomly snip. The front will need a more careful, even job but I don't know how we're going to manage the little wriggler without him ending up being skewered by the scissors  :o Wish I could do it in his sleep but he's much to much of a light sleeper.

Also I'm hesitant to cut it cos I don't know how without it ending up looking too much like a little boy instead of a baby - at just 6months I'm not quite ready for him to grow up too fast!
