Where can I buy a mesh feeding bag?
« on: November 08, 2006, 12:56:39 pm »
Hi, I am just wondering where I can get one of these? I live in Nova Scotia, Canada and I haven't seen any anywhere. Do they even sell them around here? I would love to have one for my son since he is teething and I could put ice cubes, bananas and stuff in it without fearing he'll choke. I can't really order one online since I don't own any credit cards. Thanks.

These guys have a store in Toronto. I bet if you phone them and ask if you can send a check they will post it out to you. Get some replacement bags though!

I saw an add in a magazine for a new Visa product where you can basically buy 'vouchers' that are like top-up cards for mobile phones and you can use them to shop online without a credit card. https://www.3vcash.com/
I'm not sure how cheaply it works out though.

Thanks for the links Samuel's mum, I could probably try that store if I can't get one around here. The visa thing sounds great but I checked out the site and it is only available in the UK and Ireland.

To GabrielleD I know we don't have any targets around here, I'm not sure about other parts of Canada.

I would think they would be more popular they are such a good idea!

Hi, I found where to buy some! I found a specialty shop, the Royal Diaperer, an hour from my home in Bedford that carries 2 different kinds. Thanks again for the replies!

Yeah that does sound practical...

Would it be best to have tried the fruit i give her in a pureed jar food form first?

Thanks Stacy, I actually started her on cereal but stopped because she started getting a little constipated. :(
I think I might start her up on it again, but perhaps mix it with some fruit or veggies. So other than cereal I haven't really given her anything, but she is ready to start, I bought a few jars for her to start with. I guess I'll put the mesh bag away for a month or so.
