Toys with Cords

My son is almost 9 months and he is very interested in things with cords.  He will grab at the cord to just about anything.  He has his own keyboard (an old one that we had lying around) and he used to play with the keys but now he just plays with the cord (we were about to cut it off).  I am not too keen on encouraging him to play with cords but he really enjoys playing with it.  I was wondering if anyone knew of any safe toys that had cords or something similar so that he can do something he enjoys while being safe.

What about something he can pull-along? For example, we have some ducks on wheels that quack when the cord is pulled, or, a wooden dog on wheels with a short lead that wags it's tail when walking. I guess at 9 months he would not really be pulling them but they are the sort of thing that would have safe (short) cords.

I agree, Bradley has an annoying turtle that he pulls along and it makes noise

Thanks for the suggestions of the pull toys.  I had not thought of them because Brendan is not at that stage yet.  However, I agree that he would like the cord.

Mine is still fascinated with cords and strings.  We've had much luck with just tying a short ribbon or piece of yarn to his toys.
