really early wake-up, what is my best options for naps today?
« on: December 01, 2006, 17:03:21 pm »
Ok, so yesterdays naps were awful, 40 min in the am and pm, second nap ended at 3pm, so I pushed bedtime up a bit from asleep by 7:10pm to asleep by 6:45pm. I was hopeful that Noah would at least sleep until 5:30am. He doesn't sleep a lot at night. usually about 10.5hrs. Lately he is always awake before 6, 5:30 is a good day. This early wake-up hit when the time changed but really I don't think that is the problem. at age 6months, he was sleeping from 7:15pm-6:15am with 2 night feeds, then when it was 1 night feed it was 6am, now there are no night feeds and it is closer to 5:30 am. It seems as though that instead of losing that sleep in the middle of the night---he is waking earlier.

so with a 6:45pm bedtime, he was up today at 4:40am and I gave up on him going back to sleep at 6:15 am. he needed his first nap at 8am, instead of 9, he slept until 9:10am, the next nap will likely fall from 1:15-2:30/2:45 but then  what do I from then until 7pm ?, don't want an earlier bedtime again
