Hi Stacy-yep, 5 ear infections since June, currently diagnosed with #5 just two nights ago, hence the brutal (moreso than usual) sleep. and i thought it was his incisors.

Deb-she mentioned that it's just the way some kids ears are shaped that makes them more prone. a girl in his class has had 6 and she's barely talking because she's had so much fluid in her ears! they said she needs to ditch the paci. Last night I still gave the sippy, but made sure he was sitting upright while drinking, not leaning back.
in Canada they don't consider tubes until they've had 10! i will inquire with my ped though...just to be sure.
