Here we go again - HELP!
« on: January 05, 2007, 14:53:16 pm »
I don't get it.  We finally got back on track after the holidays, and my 6 month old was going down for naps beautifully.  Now, yesterday he started being difficult to get to sleep for naps.  He's up in his crib babbling and whining and nothing works to get him to sleep!  Eventually he's awake long enough that he gets overtired.

What causes this?  His A time is about 2.25 hours now.

I HATE this and I'm about at wits end!

Is he teething or working on a new skill?

You know, he just learned to roll over from belly to back yesterday.  He has to work really hard at it and can get pretty frustrated.

Also, this past A time, I kept him up for 2.5 hours, and it was much better.  He fell asleep without any fuss.

I think what had me thrown for a loop, is that he wasn't on a 2.25 A time for hardly any time at all.

So, I panicked and then thought it through... :P

6 months is also and age when they learn all sorts of new things and their A time can really change.  Glad to hear that your last nap went well;.
