Hi all. My dd was on a 1.5 hour nap, 10 hour night for ages shortly after transitioning to one nap. In retrospect she was probably overtired but sice she would get NW's if she had more than 5.5 hours between nap wakeup and night sleep we just went with it. she finally started taking longer naps (of course, now that she is 2.5 it's a whole different ball game
) but what I would suggest is for a few days put your lo down slightly earlier for a nap--15 to 30 minutes--to see whether they take longer naps. Warning--the first day they'll probably have a 1.5 hour nap because it's what they are used to, but if you stck with it few days you may find that the longer nap starts happening. On the days they're waking earlier for their naps you can put them down early to bed too. If it the longer naps start happening though you can push both the nap and bedtime back a bit. It's tricky--it sometimes takes them a while to get to the 2 hour nap in my experience, but they get there eventually.
