Well he is doing better again now- I have extended his A time to anywhere between 2.25- 2.5 hours, & he naps sometimes for 45mins, but mostly around 1-1.5 hours, which is better. Occasionally we still get a 2 hour nap.

Is it common at all for older babies to start having shorter naps- I mean do they need less sleep? Or should he still be frequently sleeping 2hours?

Thanks
Jxx

That is fantastic news, I am so pleased he is adjusting and sleeping so well.

As they get older, the do need less sleep, and you will find that when they get older, you will start dropping naps, and by the time he is 12 - 15 months, he will be on 1 nap a day of around 2-2.5 hours.
