Best time to take Baby for a walk in the stroller
« on: February 16, 2007, 01:48:48 am »
When is the best time of day to take the baby for a walk in the stroller? Is it in Activity (beginning or end) or in their sleep time (my lo sleeps ok).

thanks

Riley loved to go for walks for his A time, loved to look at everything. It was a nice break from the house for me. Sometimes he did nap in there. If your lo has a good routine down and sleeps well in her crib, I don't think taking the odd nap there will upset everything. That is, if she will nap at all in her stroller, sometimes they get too busy and interested in their surroundings to sleep. And the catnap time is a good time to do naps while out and about.

I like to take mine for walks during catnap time as that late afternoon time is the WORST time of the day anyway.  That way, #2 will generally fall asleep (but only if she's been awake for a bit) and #1 has some time to relax and look around.  A lot depends on Lilly.  If she'll sleep well in the stroller, it's an awesome way to catch a catnap to get her through the late afternoon hours until bed.  If she's not a stroller sleeper, I'd go at the beginning of her A time so she doesn't get too fussy.
