Doing dreamfeed in crib?
« on: February 22, 2007, 15:56:27 pm »
okay, this may sound like kind of a silly question...but if feeding formula for a DF, is it okay to do it simply while baby is sleeping in her crib?

there have been a couple of times when I was afraid I woke DD up and sometimes it seems easier if I just tuck the bottle in her little mouth and hold it there while she sleeps and eats in her crib. do you think there are any hazards to something like that or am I just way off base?

thanks!

I did this with my first child. I just gave her the bottle while she was laying down sleeping in the crib. Never any problems with it.

I also did this with Isabella but at the end of the feed, I used to lift up the top part of her body so that she would burp. Worked really well, she would go straight back to sleep even after being burped.
