I know we are all unique. just curious.

1. what kind of bread do you use to make grilled cheese sandwiches?
2. what kind of veggies do you give? Note* looking for ones that she can pick up with fingers. I've only had luck with peas and carrots.
3. what kind of fruits do you give? I've had luck with cantaloup, pear, and apple

hiya
here in the UK you can buy bread which is 50/50- looks & tastes like white but with all the wholewheat of brown. That's what I use as I don't like brown bread so it seems like a good compromise.
Veggies- I too use peas & carrots, also I keep a big bag of frozen sweetcorn in the freezer, dd loves it as it is quite sweet, her favourite is broccoli- I cook it as normal and then just break it up into little florets, also cauliflower in the same way. Mushrooms chopped up too, courgettes, tomatoes and green beans (but they have to be well cooked)
Fruits- she loves blueberries (I buy a big bag of frozen again), raspberries, banana, mango, avocado, peach. All these she picks up bits for finger food. lol at the mess she gets into with the blueberries  ;D

i'm in canada and ryan's favorite bread is dempsters 100% whole grain with ancient grains. he eats it toasted with whatever we feel like and as grilled cheese. though we've given him lots of other kinds of bread, italian loaf, belgian bread (it's white), pumpernickel, german dark bread in germany, etc... you see, we're carb lovers...!  ;D
in terms of fruit and veggies, he loves banana (we cut it into two to three lengths, then gently push so that it separates into it's natural three pieces - it's like a minibanana for him, also he won't have to struggle wiht the slipperiness of it - he'll eat the whole thing in very little time), grapes cut into quarters, pears, peaches. as for veggies, peas, carrots, corn, green beens, broccoli, squash.

1) whole wheat or multi-grain (I read the ingredients to make sure it really is.) I try to avoid breads that have "high fructose corn syrup" or "hydrogenated fats"... but depends on sale prices, sometimes. Same bread that we eat.

2) vegs: green beans (sometimes), broccoli (more likely to be eaten if w/cheese sauce), sweet potatoes, baked or mashed potatoes (sometimes w/cheese or a bit of butter & sea salt), carrots (sometimes). Some of the vegs I get canned w/o salt (softer & less work). I can also sneak lots of other veggies into lasagne, spaghetti, meatloaf & other casseroles. (spinach, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, etc.) Oh, tomatoes... such as spaghetti sauce, that sorta thing (cooked). I'm sure he'd eat others... just been in a cooking "rut" lately.

3) fruits: whole apple (peeled - does better w/this than chunks), canned pears, canned peaches (both cut in chunks), lately he'll eat fruit cocktail (I cut the grapes), bananas (either straight out of the peel, while dad holds, or chunks tossed in crushed bran flakes), berries (frozen, then cooked in microwave) added to yogurt, mango (very pulpy, so I puree & add to cereal or yogurt), cantaloupe (sliced, while dad holds the rind).

Also, since you mention grilled cheese sandwiches... we don't use standard margarine (hydrogenated fats). We either use real butter, or a non-hydrogenated margarine (such as Smart Balance).
