When can they have cheese?
« on: March 31, 2007, 09:57:44 am »
Hi

Quick question as the recipe book I have has confused me (not difficult!) - it says can have cheese from 6-9 months but then goes on later to say something about starting cheese at 8 months.  Is it Ok for babies of 6 months to have mild cheddar in a cheese sauce?

Thanks

In the UK they say you can introduce dairy (including cheese) at 6 months but families with allergies sometimes like to wait a little later.

Also, from 10mo we would have given ds a stick of milkd cheddar as a snack/finger food.  He doesn't have a sweet tooth so he really enjoys it.
