combining morning bottle with brakefast
« on: March 25, 2007, 21:52:11 pm »
hello,
we need to make some changes in our routine and I'm not sure how to do it. my lo is 1 (on 27th :D :D :D)!  and is getting up at 7nish. first bottle is 7:20 about 120cc
then i change her and she plays till brakefast at 8:20 (that's when the family eats. we live with grandma)
I'm going to put her in a day care twice a week and lunch there is at 11:00, 11:30.
i know i have to give her the brakefast earlier. her solid BF is fairly small, a bit of fruit with yogurt (about 4 Tbsp) and if i give it close to the bottle she won't eat.
also, if i change her before - she gets mad.
how do you do it?
any ideas for me?
thank you!

When William was 1  I dropped the morning bottle and combined the milk that he would have had in that bottle with his breakfast.. usually cereal made with milk like weetabix or oatmeal or other cereal with milk.. That way he was getting the solids and the milk he needed.

That could be one idea for you xxx
