I have a one-month-old and we just started EASY last night.  The night went well, but he only napped for 15 minutes all day.  It's now almost 11pm and we cannot get him to sleep.  I'm sure I misread his cues an he got overtired but now I can't do anything to make him sleep.  I've been feeding him every 3 hours (more often from 6pm on), but his activity phase just doesn't end.  I try to put him down and he bawls.  He hates to be swaddled and works his way  out in just a few minutes.  Patting doesn't calm him either.

He's always slept really easy before so I am clueless.  Any suggestions?  Please!

Hi and welcome to the BW boards.

It sounds like your lo is extremely over tired, and this is why he is not settling down for his naps.

At one month old, your lo should not be having any more than an hour to an hour and 15 minutes of A time, and this includes his feeding times.

Basically his only A time would be a nappy change (depending on the time it takes him to feed based on a 45 min - 1 hour feed), and then you would start your windown routine.

I would aim to have your lo in his crip by the hour mark to ensure that he does not get over tired.

Hope this info helps.
