4 hour stretches for 8 week old
« on: March 29, 2007, 18:57:12 pm »
It seem like, If I left my lo to choose her own feeding schedule, she is not showing hunger signs until 4 hours after a feeding.  She is only 8 weeks though.  This morning she woke at 4am and ate and then did not wake again until 8am.  She went down for a nap at 9ish and is still sleeping and it is almost noon.  Maybe this is just her getting some extra zzz's because it took her awile to get to sleep last night.  But she seems to really eat better and longer at the 4 hour point.  Is this ok?  IS this to soon to even think about feeding every 4 hours.  Should I just wake her when 3 hours are up for a feed?

Good to hear she's back to "normal".  A 4 hour EASY at this age would be odd and if you stuck with it, you would most likely end up with more nightwakings.

Good luck  :-*
