7 months suddenly started to wake up at night

Hi.  I'm a little concerned because after a long time sleeping the whole night, my lo started to wake up during the night and I don't know what else can I try, because it seems I have tried everything and he is still waking up.

He is 7 months and 3 weeks.  Now he can sit and crawl and is a very active boy.  His routine is pretty much like this:

6       bf and goes to sleep again
8       a
9       breakfast 180 ml cereal
10:30 first nap
12:30 lunch 180 ml veggie
2       bf
2:30  second nap
4:30  snack fruit
6:30  dinner 180 ml veggie
7:00  sleep routine including bath
7:30  bf or bottle
8:00  sleep

Up to 2 weeks ago he used to sleep the whole night, but now he wakes up crying every night and it takes me up to an hour to make him sleep again.  I have increased the food amount to see if he wakes up because is hungry, I have given him a bottle with some cereal before going to sleep which seems to make it worst, I have made him sleep less during the day...  some times I have feed him when he wakes up and he goes to sleep after eating A LOT!!!!  So I don't know what can it be.

I don't know if this is the place to post this, but I hope you can give me some advice because I don't know what else to do.

Could he be having a growth spurt?

Well, I have to say that he is eating a lot lately, but I though growth spurts happened only to babies feed with milk and not to those who eat solids already.  I though this grow spurts were to make mom have more milk...   so you think that could be the reason?

All babies have growth spurts regardless of what they are eating. There are big spurts that tend to happen around certain ages, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 6 months, (a big one) 18 months.  These aren't the only ones btw.

So what should I do?  Feed him when he wakes up and see if things get better?  I don't want him to get used to eat at night again.

Try and get as much into him during the day as you can. Stuff the little sweetie to his gills
