Hi,
My DD is nearly 9 months old.She has been able to handle long 'A' times for her age for a long time, she cut down to 2 naps at just before 7 months.Currently she can handle 4 hrs A time.At the moment she has 1 hr in the morning (10:30 to 11:30),then 1 1/2 hrs in the afternoon (3:30 to 5:00).The thing is I'm wondering whether to stick with these times or swap the naps round,as her last nap finishes so close to bedtime (7pm).I have tried to put her down earlier, but it results in 40 min naps or not wanting to sleep as she isn't tired enough. We are doing the 1 hr nap in am to try and solve 5:30 am wakings,it does seem to be working, but I am still wondering whether it's better to have a longer late morning nap which will eventually become 1 long nap when she cuts out the second nap, then make the second nap a short one just before bed.It is difficult to know as she wants to and can stay up for so long.
Her usual routine at moment is this:-
6:30 wake
7:00 bottle feed
8:00 breakfast
10:30 sleep
11:30 bottle feed
12:30 lunch
3:30 sleep
5:00 tea
7:15 Bed
Any words of advice,thanks.
