It's 8:20pm and it's been VERY quiet up there. I think she might actually be sleeping.

well maybe a coincidence or just luck i suppose. I'm not sure if keeping her up until almost 8pm every night is the solution. Of course things also depend on when she wakes up and when she takes her nap.

She did actually fall asleep by 8:30pm - it seemed to go by quickly since I put her there almost 8pm. Than I got up at 6:45am and she was up. So it was a good night overall I think.

This morning she woke up between 6:30 and 6:45am. I put her down at 11:20am and she was sleeping by noon. She slept until 1:45pm. I than put her into her crib for bed time at 7:20pm.   It's 7:51pm and I "think" she might be sleeping, but i could be wrong. She's been awfully quiet, but i don't want to open the bedroom door "lol". Now don't forget...usually she would have the so called "last" bottle close to bed time and than almost 2 hours later would end up wanting even more milk before finally falling asleep. She hasn't done that in the last 2 nights.

I don't think overall there is that much difference or maybe I'm not seeing it.

She did act a little funny today, crying for no reason a few times like something was bothering her.
Eating solids was a bit on the stinky side too. Although she did eat some. I only gave her 4 oz of milk after every meal "4 meals" and in addition, a last bottle/sippy about 15 minutes before putting her down of 7 oz. During the day, a couple of the sippy's she wouldn't accept all of the 4oz, but pretty much drank close to 4 oz each time.

She did have a full 6 oz jar of oatmeal with pears, picked on some pancakes and bannana. Actually she ate some of the banna, but threw the pancakes on the floor. For lunch, she had some mac and cheese and a juice pop. At first she acted like she wanted nothing to do with it, but I finally had a rhytum going where she was eating the mac and cheese. She had one cookie for snack and for supper, well....she eat a few more spoonfuls of the left over mac & cheese, had a few bites of the inside of a hot dog and maybe a bite of some cheese that I gave her. She than had maybe 1/2 of a butterscotch pudding. She threw a lot of stuff on the floor today and it just didn't seem like she was into eating.

well as I had explained, yesterday she fell asleep both and bed time fairly quickly. She was sleeping by 8pm last night. However, she did wake up at 9pm crying kind of hard. I had to help her for maybe 10 minutes and than she went back to sleep.

The worst: I had to work last night because I got paged and she decides to get up at 5:50am. why, I have no idea. I let her stay in there until 6:10am, but she was playing and wide awake. I was kind of hoping she's sleep her average 6:30/6:45pm of which she's been doing all week long.

strange how these things happen.

She's getting up early again. She napped yesterday from 11:30 to 1:30 and I make sure she was being put in bed right at 7pm. She took almost 2 hours to fall asleep, eventaully at 8:30 she started crying where I had to go in and help her a little. She woke at 5:30am. Not sure why the sudden change when she was getting up between 6:30 and 7:00am, napping the same ect. Blame it on teething "lol". I know I could think about the cat nap situation, but not sure if I want to go down that road. I also know I need to work on a problem where she wants more milk after I've giving her the last sippy of the night...sometimes almost 2 hours later. that doesn't happen every night, but has been rather consistent over the past week or so. I know that could be a prop or some soothing technique at the end of the night. She doesn't do this for the nap. I did have her stay in her crib until almost 6am this morning. She woke up crying, but stopped and than I heard her playing. She wouldn't go past 6:30am without having breakfast "6 oz jar of baby cereal" and "4oz" of her sippy milk.

Sleeping close to 9pm until 5:30am just doesn't seem right...heck falling asleep close to 9pm lately and waking at 6:30/6:45am doesn't even seem right "lol". but 10 hours has been her average for a VERY long time and when I talk to the doctor they say some kids just don't need as much sleep as others. Some day I might see 12 hours. Actually she slept over nana's back a few weeks ago and she slept 12 hours over there. I couldn't believe it "lol".

Thanks, I don't know..it's hard to tell. The last 2 days and nights she hasn't done too bad falling asleep and even woke at 6:30am this morning. I really don't know if the cat nap is going to work out for us. I really think it will be very stressful on all. She's been on one nap, yes with some problems here and there, but on one nap since 11 1/2 months of age. Yes, perhaps a bit too young...but it just happened that way. It was becoming way too difficult to get her down for 2 naps. Her napping lately including today and yesterday has been from around noon to 2pm. She's almost 15 months old. I'll have to see how things go.  I will post again if I feel I need some advise or help. Thanks!!!!!
