How to do the Aussie Swaddle?
« on: July 08, 2007, 20:41:26 pm »
Hi

A week or so ago someone recommended to me the ''aussie swaddle'' as a way of swaddling that my little houdini wouldn't be able to get out of...!  Was just wondering if someone could describe to me this method or direct me to a website that would give more info.  He has outgrown the miracle blanket so keeps getting out during the night or when fidgeting at 45 mins during naptime.

Thanks lots! rx

There are instructions in the FAQ section on this board.

I may not have been doing it right, but I have to warn you that our "houdini" was able to get out of it.  The only thing that worked for us was to double-swaddle with two very light muslins, one tucked behind her arms like "wings" and one swaddling over the top.
