6 months still no sleep
« on: July 09, 2007, 13:41:50 pm »
Just looking for some advice on getting my lo to sleep. She is six months and has never slept more than four hours straight and I am becoming a tad desperate! She is a very windy girl and for the first 4 months co slept to svae my sanity. We have now managed to get her into a cot but a typical night goes like this:

6pm bath, pj's etc

6.30 bf

6.45-7 into bed..sometimes self settles sometimes do pu/pd for a short while

21.20 wakes without fail..pu/pd forabout 10 mins

22.20 wakes..pu/pd sometimes works quickly..last night I gave up after an hour and fed her

Then wakes at 2am and takes at least an hour of pu/pd if not more..usually end up fedding

Then usualy awake again at 5 but can sometimes self settle and then wakes 7 ish.

Where am I going wrong? She is still really windy and I do wonder if this is what wakes her? She does nap during the day but where she used to self settle it now takes a battle to get her down. The time she sleeps varies from 45 mins to 2 hours with no pattern. Where am I going wrong?

I have no advice, as I'm still trying to figure my little guy out.  He's 6 months as well.  Last night he was up every hour.   :(  Just no I feel your pain and will be keeping an eye on your post for some ideas too.

(((hugs)))
