Need help. I don't know what to do!

Hi Everybody

I have a DD who just turned 3 June 20th.  She had been using a soother at bedtime only but we ties it to balloons and let it go in the sky on her birthday.  She is not asking for it at all but it seems to take 2-3hrs for her to fall asleep at night.
I do the same bedtime routine as I always did and she has always been a good sleeper but now it is taking forever.  She gets up or stays in her bed it does not matter she doesn't go to sleep.  I feel myself getting frustrated and sometimes yell and she covers her ears and says don't yell mommy.  I am not a yeller and that is why I am asking for help because I an so frustrated.  She stays in her room and comes out every 1/2 hour. She doesn't really nap anymore either.  She started nurseryschool/daycare roughly 2 weeks ago and lies in her bed there and maybe 1 every 3-4 days sleeps 1/2 hr at the most.  So she is falling asleep around 10pm and getting up 7-730 but does not nap.  I start her bedtime routine around 7 to have her in bed by 730 because it takes so long to fall asleep.  Oh and she always needs to poop at bedtime...no matter what time that is.  She is toilet trained for pee but will NOT poop in the potty.  I am sorry if I am rambling on but I am going through it right now.

Sounds like she has had a lot of change in the last month – my DS is always unsettled by change so maybe the starting nursery has unsettled her a bit. I have no answers for you I’m afraid – my DS has been dropping his nap so we are sometimes having similar issues. It’s a pain in the a**!!!
What do you do when she comes out of the room?

I bring her back in and put her back in bed and tell her it is time to sleep.   The main problem is she doesn't come out a whole lot, once every 1/2 hour or so.  By the time she does that 4 times 2 hrs has gone by.  I am hoping it will change, I just get so frustrated because I know she is tired.
