He's a sneaky little guy
« on: July 26, 2007, 20:50:56 pm »
Well my little guy knows he can't sleep with me so when we are sound asleep, he will sneak in to bed.  You would very surprised on how quite he is...  If Chris is working I sometimes don't even wake up.  In the morning I wake up with him in bed with me???  It wasn't a problem at first, but he walked in on me and his dad having some private time the other night, and well yeah now we got to end this coming into bed in the middle of night.  Help please.  We are trying to have another baby, and well him sneaking into bed with us in the middle of the night isn't gonna work.
Tanner- My active, fun loving 4yr old.
Kaitlyn- My new baby girl.

could you use a stair gate at his bedroom door?or a baby monitor to hear him stirring in his room?
children are precious,cherish the moments....

He would climb that gate. But a monitor could work.  I guess i will have to dig them out.

Just an idea... but what about pulling your door closed (maybe not latched, and hanging a little bell on your door, out of reach (eg. on a coat hook)?  If he moved the door, the bell would ring and let you know he's on his way in... so you can put him back into his own room before he makes it to your bed.

We're lucky - our DD carries EVERYTHING off her bed into our room when she comes in, so she always drops something and wakes us up!!
