Thanks for replying. I've thought about going in after a few minutes to check, but since this whole issue started, she has been falling asleep very quickly (whether she's pooped or not!) whereas a couple weeks ago she would talk for a while before going to sleep. Nothing has changed in her schedule and she doesn't seem more tired before nap, but she does go through talking/not talking phases every once in a while. She's always been the kind of sleeper where if her nap gets interrupted, that's it, no matter whether it's been 10 min. or an hour
This has happened a few times recently when storms knocked our power out during nap which turns off her fan
I will definitely do this (go in after 10 min. or so) as long as she is talking, but otherwise I'd be too afraid to wake her up, especially if it turns out she hasn't pooped.
After her lunch, we usually go straight into her room for stories and wind-down, usually about 15-20 min. or so. That's a good suggestion to give her some time after lunch and before nap to clear things up
Thanks --- I'll try that!
