Help!! My boy is 22 months old and we've been doing the 4 hour schedule with regards to his sleep times, we moved him to one nap several months ago, and he has always had really rough teething (i'm worried he has the same sleep/pain disorder I have) and now that it is time for his back molars he has a really hard time sleeping - he never wants to go down for naps or sleep, wakes all night and throughout his nap, and we've been having to get up at 6 sometimes because he'll just throw serious fits until we go get him up. I'm wondering if we should stretch out his awake time to make him tired enough to sleep? However, the only problem with that is sometimes he gets overtired and then just screams for hours. He has always had a hard time sleeping, but recently it has been next to impossible. He has had dark circles under his eyes for a long time now and his doctor doesn't seem too concerned, just gives me the standard teething remedies which don't seem to help at all. His normal schedule varies, as he usually wakes up earlier than 7:30 - we just put him down 4 hours after he wakes up from sleep, but as I said, he screams more than sleeps. Please help with advice!!!! Thank you for your time.
