I guess I should have mentioned I have an very open floor plan also. When you walk in the door, it is a foyer and to the right is the dining room (now playroom), straight ahead is the living room and the kitchen. Pretty much all open.
I do have a bonus room above the garage, which I wish could be the playroom, but my husband works nights, so we turned that into a theater room (blackened the walls), and we have a projector and big screen for movies in there and of course his bed. I also do keep a few toys in there.
I am also a very organized, neat person and I stress everyday with my house looking like a toy factory.
I tell myself that I guess this is the way it has to be until the kdis are older, but sounds like it really does not have to be?
All of our bedrooms are upstairs also.
In the living room (which is a very good size) also has our fireplace with Tv above it (built in), couch, huge chase lounge, recliner and coffee table. There is still room to walk and play.
I just hate the fact of all the toys when you first walk in the house.
Thanks for all the in put. I was going to move a lot of the toys to his bedroom, but I was scared he would play and not sleep.
Thanks again
