Nappy Changing: Distractions!!

I thought I'd pop this on... my DS is very fidgety at nappy change time (as they all are!!) so I'm trying to distract him anyway I can. Usually we take the toy he's been playing with to the changing table but yesterday I forgot. When I spied the finger puppets I gave him 2 to play with, then put them on his big toes. HE LOVED IT and I got a clear line to sort the business out!!! Now we're using silly voices/ noises for the characters and I'm off to Ikea soon to get other characters!

Any help we can get eh?!

I loved those finger puppets!!

DD had a puppet thing that attached to her wrist and we used to attach them to her ankles too

I've recently started giving Mimi an old cordless phone that we don't use anymore.  She's obsessed with talking on the phone though.  So, she 'talks' and tells me who she's talking too.  She also looks at books while I'm changing her.  I have to keep Mimi's hands busy though because she likes to grab down there and inevitably will try to eat her poop. ( Gross!)

The phone has recently made an appearance on our changing table too...that and books. This child has more than a passing interest in books at the moment!!!!

You know I haven't had any ttrouble with him nappy changing for months...sorry was that a red rag to a bull??!?!
