what do you use for white noise?

just wanted to see what other mommies used for white noise for their little one's bedrooms.

We use a fan for Jasmine & nothing for Isabella :)

I also use a fan.  Until it got cold at night I had it on high.  Now I have it on the lowest setting but it still works.

I have some CDs bought from ebay, hoover sounds and fan sounds.

We use a humidifier that can be hot air in winter (serves as a heater as well) and cold air for summer

We use a white noise (it has several different sounds, I think the one it is on is "ocean") alarm clock that we picked up at Walgreens for 25 dollars or so.

A fan set on high, facing the wall - one for him and one for me  ;D
