sick after bottle
« on: October 02, 2007, 19:25:06 pm »
I'm not sure if this is the right board to post on. DS is nearly 2 and for the last few nights he has instantly thrown up his entire bottle in the evening. He isn't ill and he is fine with his morning bottle so not sure what is causing this. Any ideas?

Is the bottle too close to his dinner time and is he gulping it down too quickly?  Have you thouggt about using a cup instead? - that might slow him down a bit and stop the throwing up.

I can only offer some support as there are simply days at a stretch when this happens to my DS too but I have never understood or figured out why. Just as suddenly as it started, it also stops. However, I stopped worrying becoz he was never in pain or upset by it and usually, he still slept through the night without waking up hungry in the middle of the night.
