Don't forget about Dry Air/Humidifier!
« on: November 06, 2007, 13:56:37 pm »
Just a tip for all you Northern Hemisphere ladies who may have experienced a sudden drop in humidity with the onset of winter & indoor heating.  Our lo was having multiple NW that were just getting worse instead of better, she started demanding multiple night feeds, and she was constantly rubbing her nose.

I finally got wise and put a humidifier in her room -she slept much more comfortably last night, and so did I!  There were other issues also, but I'm convinced this was an element.  Makes sense - I was getting up during the night for a drink because my throat was parched, I'm sure her's was too.

they do work wonders don't they ;D

I have one of those Vics ones, so when DD is sick I can use the vics with it, when she's not sick it just works like a normal one  :)

LOL, I love the way you say thing, Stacy. :)  How often do you jump in the ocean in Canada to quench your thirst? :D

Great tip though, thanks Ellen!! I am sure that is why I had the mother of all Colds and Flu's last year when we visited my family in Canada. Much more used to the radiator heating in the UK. Dries the air, but not to such an extent. :)
