Notification not working

I haven't had an email notification for ages. I know my notifications are still active so why are there no emails. Any ideas?

Go into your Profile > Notifications and Email and change it from Nothing at all to Only replies that should fix it :)

Thank you! That was something of a catch-22, I was expecting a notification by email which didn't come and then I forgot I'd posted. All sorted now, thanks
