Whew it's been a while since I've been online! Happy holidays everyone.
Well, we are back from vacation - it went really well aaand my DS was good enough to start sleeping through the night while we were away - 12 hours straight with no DF! I thought it was from exhaustion from being on vacation and his schedule being a little messed up, but he continued when we got home as well. He was almost 4 months old to the day when he started.
The solids have been put on hold - I think I'll try again around the end of this month (he will be six months then and he's started to reach for things that daddy is eating or drinking) and see if it has any effect on his sleeping.
Now I am a little concerned about his hearing... my DH thinks I just like to have something to worry about (I hope that's not the case). My son is now 5 months old - and doesn't often startle or do anything with new or loud noises. He is not really turning towards sounds, sometimes voices but then again sometimes not as well. Does anyone know what the best way to check this sort of thing is or what's "normal" at this age?
