Does mayonnaise contain Milk protien? I assumed it did so avoided giving it, but i've just been looking at tesco, where it looks like their own brand does but hellmans doesn't?

If it doesnt say it contains milk, it shouldnt

Watch out for it saying

Whey
Casein
Skimmed milk powder
Lactose from milk

I only have the hellmans extra light mayonaise and that contains lactose from milk. It is in brackets as it comes under flavourings. I don't know if hellmans original will be the same.

I think from looking into it a bit closer that the 'light' versions contain milk protein but full fat ones don't.
