Major nap regression!
« on: November 27, 2007, 10:02:34 am »
Hey all,
Well we had a major regression in our naps the last few weeks and we were doing so well. But of course it was all my fault, I have been run down and tired and battling the sniffles, hayfever I think, and got too lazy to bother with the nap time battle. So Ry regressed to only sleeping in my arms!!! Much to my insanity I had to stop this! I can't believe how quickly they regress once you let yourself slip. Anyway, I also can't believe how quickly he rembered how to go to sleep in his cot for naps again. Took one nap of crying and settling and hey presto. Day 2 and he is putting himself to sleep with a dummy and his bib to snuggle and play with, bless his little soul.  And he woke up today about and hour into his second morning nap (Ry has a reversed nap day: catnap in am then bigger nap in am and then big nap in arvo, he also gets up at 5.30 its his natural birhythm I think), I think because I was vacumming down stairs it disturbed him but he just playing in his cot for over an hour till it was time to get up, I think he nearly went back to sleep. Anyway, now have my sanity back and even did some baking today, nearly felt prebaby normal again.
Cheers,
Jayne
