Signs of being able to transition would be that she seems able to handle more A time, not being hungry at feeds, short naps (although this is a sign of overtired too).  Most babies can handle a four hour feeding routine at 4 months but some struggle with the A time so that is why a slow transition is a good idea.
How has the last day or so gone?

Really good, she slept 8 hours straight last night  :D .  What has helped is that I've been keeping track of A and E separately.  She gets tired after 2 hours of being awake so I put her down and she goes to sleep with no problem.  I feed her every 3 hours indepently from her sleeping routine.  It has made me less stressed and more in tune with her cues and needs.  I will keep the 3 hour feeding routine for a week and then will move to the 3.5.  Once I see that she can handle the 4 hour feeding routine I'll try it.  Thanks for asking!!
