Henry's nappies looked very similar to this, except with the mustard seeds which was breast milk. I would say it is 'normal' for a baby with an immature GUT. It is too uniform to be the KY only, I would say. If it was due to the KY jelly, it would sit on the outside, does that make sense? Henry's poos also look 'normal' but green on the nutramigen.
Our GUT makes mucous to line the insides everyday, all the time. This is normal. It helps things move along. As the Elecare is broken down to such an extent, the baby needs very little 'input' to break it down and absorb it. There would be very little waste and it would look differently to that of another milk like Nutramigen or CBF. I hope that makes sense. That is why breastmilk babies' poop look similar, just 'white' seeds in the yellow/green mucous making it look like mustard seeds - or I thought sesame seeds.
LOL, Zoey, the link you posted is really
I think with Zach growing well, looking comfortable and now sleeping through, I would ride it out. As the GUT matures, the lining of the intestines heals and hopefully Zach outgrowing his issues, the poop will keep changing too. That is what we have seen with Henry.
