Hiya

Not sure if this is an EASY, breast feeding, or nap question so move me if need be!!

Callie is 10 weeks and has been on a rough 2.5 hour schedule.  Recently, due to short naps she has been pushing feeds closer together so sometimes she is looking to feed every 2 hours  ::).  This resulted in snacking, hunger and shorter naps!  So the last couple of days I have worked on naps (w2s) and she has taken great naps and as a consequence has stretched feeds out.  If she is not up at the 3 hour mark I wake her to make sure she is feeding.  Yesterday we had a 3 hour easy all day and she went down at 730pm.

Usually she then wakes between 3 and 4 for a feed but last night she was starving at 1130pm and 330pm  :o :o

Is this because she went to 3 hour easy? Should I do it in smaller steps or will she just naturally adapt to the longer schedule.  It doesn't really bother me if she is up at 1130 to feed as she goes right back down BUT obviously I would rather she slept until the other side of midnight  ;)  Don't really want to do a DF either as she has been doing really well with nights until now.

Of course it might have been a one off but she was really starving so I guess it is related.

Anyway, TIA  :-* :-*

Nic, I would suggest giving her a 10 minute break between feeding, do a bit of A time and then offer her a feed again, and see how she does.

I know that Abbie likes to have a break in feeding, and I ususally give her 10-20 mins and then offer again, and she usually finishes her bottle then.
