Robeez are great, much better than slippery socks or even the socks with gripper feet.

we had to brush ours with sandpaper after a while as it turned into a skating rink on the polished wood!

Yeah, she's not crawling yet.  I've started leaving her if I have to run into the next room really quickly. Back in a sec, I tell her.  It's nice now that I don't have to hold her all the time and she is a little more independent.  At least that way I can be on email and BW and use both hands!

we're not crawling yet but very mobile with bum scootching, and i am quite comfortable to leave the room for a few minutes if the gate is up ... room is safe from a baby perspective, and they don't seem to mind if i am gone a few minutes.  it's never long mind you - 3 or 4 mins at a time, but i keep coming back to check and going again, so i can do several things in and out every 3-4 mins.
