too old for a door jumper thing?

you know those bouncing seats that fit inside your doorway?  my dd is 7 mos and seems to always want to bounce, but we don't have anything like that.  Is it worth getting at her age?  or is she too old for it?  if we should get one, any suggestions for which one to get?

An exersaucer that bounces is also a good alternative.  We have one and it's great as you can put it in any room you want or even outside on a warm day.  DS loves to bounce too.

We just got Hannah a jumper... one that attaches to the door frame ... it is easy to put up and take down and it REALLY has been the ONLY thing that she has enjoyed for a half an hour or more at a time.  usually she just wants to lay in her boppy on the couch beside me and has no want for anything else.  But the jumper she seems to really like and we just got it yesterday.  She doesn't have the jumping part down yet but she kinda swings herself around a bit... and really seems to enjoy it... the leaflet says up to 25 pounds or until they are walking.  So you could still get some good use out of it.  this one was only $30.00 it's a graco one.

We love our jolly jumper. It has been a lifesaver for both our kids (Ethan is obviously still using it as he is not mobile yet). Ella stopped using it at about 8 months, Ethan is still going strong and he is almost 7 months. They are worth the money, especially if you plan to have a second. We have a door way one and love the fact you can simply take it out of the way when you don't need it.

Well hannah is only 4 months... so she doesn't quite GET it yet.  She kinda swings herself around... but I was curious as to how long she could use it so I read all the instructions and guidelines... and I talked to my mom and she said the same thing as the instructions... I loved it until I was able to support myself and take some steps with help from a table or couch.

I am really looking forward to the times after hannah figures out it's purpose.. it is already helping her with using her legs... before she didn't want to "stand" at all... now when we hold her up she will straighten her legs and support her weight for a few seconds.. before she wouldn't.

So I am certain I will be using it for quite some time... long past 7 months.
