How Do I Know If the Breast Is Drained?
« on: January 22, 2008, 03:26:17 am »
Just wondering how I know if my lo has drained my breast and is getting the hind milk.  Does he pull off?  Is it just when the breast is soft?  Wanting to be sure he's getting the good stuff!

Sometimes I express a bit of milk by hand and just see if it looks thin/watery or thicker/creamier. Not sure if this is a good indication, but it's what I do as well as feeling if the breast feels full or soft.
