Cannot change my tickers in my signature

So, I went to change my ticker, now that my new son was born and when I try to type the new ticker info and save it, my profile info just goes back to something else, not even what I had typed before.  It's like it's making up something of it's own to go there.

Here's what I want to go in my sig.

It says I have still have characters left to spare.

I click the change profile option.

And it doesn't come up.

Something new is there.

any ideas?
