I've read your other posts as well. Really hard to say why he would freak out like that if teething and illnesses are ruled out. The only other logical explanation would have to be SA. Here's a plan you could try but it will take time. I did this with dd when pu/pd didn't work for us. I learned this from another mom. It's a combination of usual pu/pd and GW. Do your usual routine and if he really starts to freak out when placed in the crib. Hold him in a cradle position but in the crib. Hold him till he is calm then let go. YOu may want to keep a firm hand on him if that helps. If he cries again, repeat. Do this again and again but each time try to reduce the time you hold him. You're probably thinking "My poor back!".
The idea is to get him to fall asleep IN the crib not in your bed. You may have to sleep next to his crib for the nights you are doing this. Saves the time from walking back and forth. Sometimes it feels that they will never get it but they will. Someone once told me that once you have a plan in place, you need to carry it out consistently and for at least 2 wks to see any results. If by the end of 2 wks, there is no improvement then reevaluate.
i listen to him ( LOL).....
Yeah I listen to my children all too well too. I'm such a light sleeper that every grunts/whimper wakes me up as well.
