Hello!

Not sure where you are in the world - what is available varies from country to country really!

In the uk, anything other than honey and the additive nasties (like salt, sugar and artificial additives) are considered ok to offer from 6 months. Baby corn (sort of mini sweetcorn cobs) are a great finger food for young babies to gnaw on if well steamed, and can be eaten hot or cold - sweetcorn kernals themselves are not easily chewed or digested in young babies, so you might want to wait a bit before offering them (they'll likely be swallowed and excreted whole! so it's a bit pointless really ;)).

In the uk, we have 2 types of bean, so I'm not sure which one you mean :-\. Again, fine beans/green beans are a good food to gnaw on when steamed because they can be held in the fist with a bit sticking out the end to chew... however, if you mean little beans like kidney, or haricot type beans, then they can make a good mash (alternative to potato), or be used in making casseroles or patties/burgers when cooked until soft.

I believe that you can buy non-lactose yogurts, eg. soya based ones, but you'll have to check with your local supermarket about which brand they sell!

HTH?

Nothing new to add just sharing my experience...

My lo is 6.5 months and we are trying the baby led weaning and we have tried lima beans and he eat those with no problem but i did squeeze the skin off and just let him have the mushy middle.
