Hey, guys, thanks for all the replies!  The packnplay is what we used when we traveled a year ago, but I have a few concerns about it now:  He climbs out of it the second I put him in it (but he'd do that on a travel cot, as well, I'm sure).  Also, I think it'd just be really uncomfortable for him, at this point...So, I'm thinking of getting a travel bed similar to the one Melissa (I think :)) posted  a link to.  It's called the Peapod Portable Travel Bed and for some reason I can't get the link to post (Grrr...)  We won't really be able to rent a crib anywhere, since we are staying with relatives--otherwise, taking the crib tent along would've been a great idea!  I'm still trying to make a final decision..I just hate to spend money on something we won't use...Anyway, thanks again for the input!

**Miranda, your ticker says you're like 11 months pregnant ;)

I googled it to have a look - hmm looks interesting. I can't imagine my ds sleeping in there but then again a lot can change between now and when he is your ds' age. pls keep us posted on how it works out! By the way, here is a link to a picture of it that I found:
