what cereal does your LO eat

All,
My 1 YO son is still on stage 3 cow and gate cereal, he loves it and I am hesitant to change it, he eats fruit along with the cereal everymorning...but I know I nee to migrate him to older kid cereals..any thoughts///what do your LO's like?

he loves Cheerios but not in milk....I think he prefers the pasty texture for cereal...

Weetabix, ready brek/porridge, rice krispies, shreddies are all good options

My LO loves readybreak and also weetabix, but some days are a hit and a miss.  Depends what mood she's in I think !

at that age alex loved porridge/oatmeal with raisins, then graduated to weetbix, and now eats weetbix/rice krispies/raisins all together

Ella likes Cheerios, Chex, and Frosted Mini-Wheats in milk. Although she just recently started enjoying cereal and milk, before she preferred the cereal dry. She also LOVES any kind of oatmeal with pretty much anything in it.

Anything and everything...the milk in cereal can take a bit of time.....now that dd has mastered a spoon, she LOVES her cereal and milk!

loves cereal here but not with milk :(.everything is eaten dry,cornfalkes,cherios,wheetos,rice crispies,multi grain rice crispies[formally muddles].

wow kids today do have a mind of their own...

We tried ready brek over the weekend with chopped fruit and that went down pretty ok

the dry cereals are a success at our end as well its the milk that changes everything...waiting for the mastery of the spoon....

It is really hard to buy cereals here in Denmark that aren't loaded with sugar but Leorah's faves are raisin wheats, oats with fruit and yoghurt and weetabix. She has also recently mastered the spoon and loves cereal now too!

I did actually read that most portions of cereal even for an adult if crushed down would fit into an egg cup so unless it's something like porrridge it's best to bulk it up anyway or serve 2 courses. No wonder I'd always get to school and be starving after my 40 min walk there!!

that's a good idea about the drinking the leftover milk.

I haven't tried regular cereal yet w/ milk. we eat lots of oatmeal, malt o meal, or cream of wheat. If i'm in a pinch, we'll do baby cereal but cade is not a huge fan. we eat cheerios or KIX dry, usually while I'm preparing the rest of the breakfast.

Various dry ones with a glass of milk.  She also likes hot chocolate wheat cereal with some soy butter mixed in.

the straw takes a little while to master. i know i showed cade how to use it. we used regular sippy cups, then the straw ones (where you still have to bite), and then tried the regular straws. He'll get it eventually, just keep trying!

Nicholas loves rice krispies, porridge with raisins and weetabix. He also loved shreddies when we were in the U.K, but can't get them here :(

Aedric loves almost any cereals.  His favourites at the moment are Special K (he calls them K), Shreddies, rice crispies and cheerios.  He often prefers to have them dry, but does milk every so often.  When he was younger he really liked cereal with yogurt instead of milk. He probably still would, we just haven't offered it in a while.
