What's going on?  :o

He slept really well last night - 18:30 - 21:30 then up for an hour (wanted to watch Lost with us you see  ;)) then 22:30 - 02:30, then a feed at 05:30 and up at 08:10.

We've then barely seen him all day, seriously!! He's just SO tired and goes back to sleep without a fuss and sleeps good and proper - one of the feeds I did today and indeed yesterday were practically DF in the middle of the day.

Is 8 weeks one of those times for those magic 'growth spurts' or something?? Or is this possibly just him, a baby who needs lots of sleep?

Bet we'll pay for it tonight - bet he'll be up and ready to party  ::)

(btw, am NOT complaining here, just dead  :o esp after having DD as a baby  ;))

I'd say so ...

Woo did nothing but sleep the day his Aunt and Uncle came to meet him for the first time - its pretty tiring being 8 weeks old xxx

Well that's good to know - BLESS his little heart all tucked up in bed for the night now, glad he's sleeping when he needs to, not like his nightmare sister was  ;)

 ;D

If I'm up all night with him - I'll be back tomorrow  ;)

Well, it was ok actually

I DF him at 11pm ish (sorry, I already can't remember the times, it's a blur lol  :-[)  then 2:30am-ish then 5:30am-ish and 8am

May sound hellish to some of you - but I think that's great  ;D (naturally not as great as 7pm - 7am but   ::))

Awel-so happy I read this yesterday as I had no idea of an 8 week growth spurt :-\

Connor had two huge naps yesterday (assisted, but who cares) and a GREAT night.  Woke only at 1am and 5am after going down at 8:45 ;D

This morning he had a two hour nap in car seat, was awake for 15 minutes until i fed him...and he fell asleep feeding. he often does, then wakes a few minutes later.  I didn't even bother to burp.  he lay on my lap for 30 minutes, and I just put him in the bassinette with fingers crossed!

normally i would wake thinking, hmmm, he'll only have a short nap.  but if so, who cares.  he'll have some more A time, then likely more S in the sling.

I LOVE your posts, so full of info for Ioan's twin across the ocean ;D

LOL Traci   :-*

Last night - 8-12am in the pushchair (yes we carried the pushchair upstairs lol) then 12:30-05:30 in his moses  :o  Unfortunately - I didn't get much more sleep than I usually would as he was so noisy and I kept thinking he'd woken up for a feed  ::)

Once he starts doing this kind of sleep consistently he'll be in his own room quicker than he knows!!  ;)

Josh was in his own room by 8 or 9 weeks, would have been earlier but it was easier just to reach over in the middle of the night lol!  :-*
