Aleesa, I only just now saw this, but I knew you were having a hard time, so wanted to send hugs your way too.  I'm not looking forward to facing the bedtime wean with Abby.  You've done so great with Lilly all this time....and I'm sure you both still cherish those morning feeds.  And now dh can have some daddy-daughter time too.

Well night 3 went down a treat ( ).  Same deal as before, asleep (or at least quiet) within 5mins of dh being in there with her.  makes me think we should have done it sooner!!! (maybe not...).  She did wake tonight though - 4.30-5.15, but we have one last tooth to come in, so I was expecting it.

She does get extra excited in the mornign now!!!

thanks again for all your support.  I always thought thisnight feed would be the hardest, but so far so good.  the true test will be me doing the bedtime routine, but will wait a few more days yet.

Aleesa, that brings a tear to my eye...it's that special time you have with Lilly when you BF that belongs to just the two of you, so of course you feel a tug at your heart when it's gone. It a normal thing to mourn that, Sweetie. Do get you some extra cuddles.

Glad it's going so well! Nice for Lilly and daddy to have that time together too... You'll get used to it very soon I think.

Well last night I did the bedtime routine and she was fine. Had to go back in about 10mins later and just pat her belly, but that was only for a few seconds and she was fine.  Didn't point or pull my shirt or anything!
