Can anyone help me. My daughter Edie Grace is nearly 7 months and the whole family (bar me) are just recovering from a sickness virus and my daughter is now refusing to drink more than 2oz formula on her 4 hour easy routine. She will not drink water or juice and I'm really worried about this. I can tell that she has lost weight (understandable given she's had a sickness bug) but I'm very anxious to build her up again but that is proving impossible. She's taking small amounts of solids but I don't want to overload her delicate stomach so soon after the bug. The last time she vomited was on Wednesday morning.
She has gone from eating solids at 3 meals a day and having 5 x 6oz bottles in a day.
I'm keeping my eyes open for signs of dehydration but just need to know if you have any tips for getting any more fluids into her. Once this baby clamps her mouth shut there is no way she is opening up and if she does she just spits it out again!
Advice please.
