Ok, so will 6am turn into 7am? Or is it the other way around (sorry I always get confused ::))

I would just wake him up 20-30mins earlier & do nap 20-300mins earlier and he should wake 20-30mins from nap so you can do bedtime 20-30mins earlier. You can do this for a few days and then wake him up again 30mins earlier, nap earlier & bedtime earlier until he slowly adjusts. It usually takes about 3-4 days for most and most adjust pretty easily. Just move meals and everything else you do with the earlier wake up.

If 6am will become 5am then you try to hold him for his nap and put him down about 20-30mins later, bedtime later & he should start waking up a little bit later in a couple of days and then again try to push 20-30mins later so within a week he's waking up later. Again, adjust mealtimes and everything else.

hth a little

The past week we've been slowly bumping DD's bedtime up by about 10-15 minutes every 2-3 days.  She really hasn't seemed to notice.  Just from that she's just been adjusting the rest on her own ... waking up a bit earlier, ready for her nap a bit earlier ...

Good luck!

thansk.  we lose 1 hr!  so when i wake at 7 it will be 8am.  I totally forgot about it until today, so i couldn't adjust ahead of time, and it's hard as he is just getting used to 1 nap a day still so nap still can vary anywhere from 12-1pm and last anywhere from 1hr 15 min - 2hrs. so it's hard to know his true schedule.
SOmedays he wakes st 6, sometimes 6:30 or 7, when i think i knowand i go in to wake him, he is already up playing so quietly in his crib!!! :D

We have been moving DDs nap and bed times 15 minutes every 2 days. Since I realized too late and didn't start slowly adjusting her time until just 2 days ago,  I thought that we could just go ahead and move her time up an hour, cold on the day itself.  Upon second thought we decided that a slow transition would be best for us.

thanks, i did nap 15 min earlier today but he is still sleeping..... 2 hrs now it's so unusual...... so it's 3:20 ( actaully 2:20 to him) so we will see how it goes and hopefully he will be up soon and keep it somewhat on track and then bed 15 min earlier if i can.
