Attention seeking toddler
« on: March 11, 2008, 15:27:20 pm »
Hi there!

I'm really hoping someone can offer me some advice ... I have 2 under the age of 3 and will any day have 3 under 3!!! .. my eldest has no idea how to play on her own... she will be 3 in May08. She wants me to read with her, colour with her, make jigsaws with her, watch programmes with her and the list goes on. I appreciate I probably encouraged this behaviour to some extent during her first 19 months when she was my only child but its getting impossible now.

Even if I can get her to read or make  a jigsaw she wants me to watch!

Any ideas on how I can start to change this behaviour?

thanks!
