Question about My messages

Hi I would like to re-read some of my old messages but do not know how to access them once I have read them. There is one particular message that I received not too long ago but am having a hard time finding it. Please let me know how I can do this.
Also, I didn't know that no one was sending notifications to my e-mail to let me know that someone had messaged me back. All this time I thought that no one had messaged me but I had several messages from some senders. Could you let me know what happened there?

hi,

if you look across the top of the screen (below your time logged in, etc.), you should see a row of buttons:  Home/Help/Search....

click on "my messages" to see your Inbox. 

As far as emails, you need to go into your Profile and look at your Notifications; make sure you have set things to email you notices.
